They say the world is black and white
What justice grants
What justice smites

No redemption
No remorse
No chance to change your sorry course

Right is right
And wrong is wrong
Law is fate’s merciless pawn

Dividing the spirit and the letter
Altruism fine
Legality better

And here we stand in the shrinking way
Twixt illicit night and lawful day
I reject their monochrome cliché
Here I stand
My world is grey.

THis was really good.  The message you are trying to get at is a very deep and powerful one, but I feel that you covered it very well.  5 stars!
