Dying Young MAG
We talked on the end of the world
As the smoke filled our lungs
And the cigarettes hung from our chapped lips
The world around us was dying
Blackened under a field of cruel white
The ash of fallen trees fluttered by
A flash of faded reds and oranges
Memories of the fall
Whisked away by a brisk wind
Lungs filled with tar
Black as the road we stood
Paved highways in our chests
We breathed in our poison
And we talked on the end of the world
As the smoke filled our lungs
And we blackened ourselves like the earth
Too eager to die young
