I See
I see a boy.
Young,
he plays
his accordion
dusk till dawn.
I see him
sadly looking
in his begging cup.
It comes up empty,
again.
I see an autistic girl
thrashing on the ground.
I see people avoiding looking,
moving away.
I see, I see.
Sometimes I wish I didn’t see.
