I Am Concerned

I am concerned
I wonder what is wrong with her
I hear eyes that cry
I see her heart that breaks
I want to make it alright
I am concerned
I pretend everything will be fine
I feel my heart sink into my stomach
I touch her heart with my words
I worry she might be too far gone
I cry because she hurts
I understand that she’s got it bad
I say I wish I could fix it
I dream of her happiness far away
I try to make her see
I hope for her future healing
I am concerned
