"Ice Inside"
Warm to the eyes
But inside
He's frozen
Slowly crippling from the coldness
Of his heart
Withered and
Shriveled away.
Hiding himself,
Purposefully suffering.
He knows that if he
Allowed people to warm
His ice cold, frost coated heart,
He would only end up burned.
But you wouldn't know
That from looking at him.
He is the master of hidden, suppressed emotions.
Numb to both love and hate.
