I have a friend, who doesn't like to wear make-up.
She only wears it on stage,
Where it's all the rage,
So she can be in the show, so there won't be fuss.

I have a friend, who doesn't like high-heels.
Don't get me started about that, how she feels.
She prefers flat shoes, so she can run.


I have a friend, who's not a fan of nail-polish.
I could go on about this, but I'll spare you the details.
She just doesn't like it on her nails.
She thinks it'll look silly.

I know, she's a weird teen.
And I'm not trying to be mean
To my friend, but I guess I can if I want too because she's me.

I know this is silly, but to be honest, I think everyone can post their funny poems now and then. Now I just want to explain a little, make-up, high-heels, and nail-polish are one of the few things on my friend's list of what she doesn't really like. And then, you're probably wondering who's my friend? Hmm, if you read it to the end, you'll find out. . .haha.

Haha, you're welcome, I suppose. :) Haha, also you're right. If I want too, I should. I guess I just wonder what people will think of me when they see me in makeup, haha; since I nevr wear makeup. But you're right, haha. Those are the same exact words from a book called by, 'Perfectly Unique.' Haha, I'll try wearing makeup for a little bit. ;)

It was my pleasure to comment on your poem! Thanks for writing it haha :) And I think you should totally start wearing makeup if you want to!! And it honestly doesn't matter what other people think of you, if that's what's holding you back. Just remember: we wear makeup to enhance the beauty that God gave us, not to create new "beauty." ;)

I wasn't expecting any comments on this poem. :) Haha, to be honest I might start wearing a little bit of makeup but I don't know what will happen if I do that. ;) Also, thank you. Haha this poem was so cute!! Even though I wear nail polish and makeup, I totally get you on the high heels...flats are the best :) I applaud you for being yourself, though! You're not ashamed of who you are and that's fantabulous! ;)

I love thos soooo much! I don't wear makeup, wear highheels, but I do paint my nails lol ^_^ I really like this, and how well it flows and rhymes :) Great job! :)

Thank you so much ^_^ And I agree with you : ) Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one. I wear make-up only for dance performances. High-heels are too much of a bother. And nail polish? Haha it's too much of a bother to, and it just comes off when you're very active. Thank you again, you've helped me a lot

This is so awesome! The ending has a pleasant surprise, which is great. And yes, everyone can write fun, easy-going poems. They are fun and easy to read! By the way, I'm just like you. I hate make-up, high heels, and nail polish too :).
