Set me free
Dark pours over without relief
Rain falls down with every tear
Hurting anyone who tries to help
Yelling at anyone who truly cares
You took away my last little spark
You crushed it under your obese chest
Why did I trust you and tell you my past?
You're evil face caused my awful mess
I want to be young, alive and free
A good mom who grants every wish
A good wife who loves unconditionally
A servant of God, ruined with your kiss
You move on like nothing's changed
You don't curse or scream or cry
You don't see what you did to me
You left me a hole and an STI
Every night I lie awake
Questioning everything you did to me
Was it my fault? Am I to blame?
An endless nightmare, I need to be free
I'm getting help for all of my past
Making amends; trying to forgive
You will always be an ugly monster
But I will move on and learn how to live.
