If I Ever Thought
If I ever thought I could fly,
I was lying to myself.
Flying is for birds.
Flying needs wings.
If I ever thought I was lying,
I was lying to everyone else.
I don't need to fly.
I don't need freedom.
Freedom and flying.
These two are "profound."
They are idealistic.
They aren't real.
You aren't a bird.
And I don't have wings.
I'm safe inside my cage.
I dont care if the door is open.
