Dawn...
August 23, 2014
Above, where the Heavens,
Held high by lofty pillars of clouds,
Where tears of angels fall as rain,
And their feathers drift as snow from the sky,
Where orbs of golden light
Bounce from walls of clear glass
Thin as paper
Shatters like sugar glass
Where time is to none effect
And the Beating Heart is known
The beating of the drums
The drums on the sublime sun
Sounding out the procession
The wedding of Night,
The wedding of Day,
And the Dawn,
Where they kiss,
Painting their love
Across the sky
The freedom of their fingers
As they love the other
and smile, to part again
At Dusk, to quietly reign the night,
and let the angels sing their hymns
and close their books, rise,
and flock to the sky
To fly up Above,
From where the rain descends
