Depressed?
I can't be depressed
No melancholy blue tears
It's bright red as I
squeeze my eyes shut
to hold them back
And bite my tongue
So that the lifeblood of my words won't
Splatter on the tile
Leak out until the jar is empty
Even with a lack of willpower
I betray my own trust
and fear death anyway.
