What If?
In the time,
when he’s away,
i sit and think,
maybe today,
maybe today our love shines through,
through the barriers of our age,
maybe today,
i’ll be able to cross that blue expanse,
to find him waiting there…
but what if,
what if i cross,
and i'm all alone,
for he has left,
gotten tired of waiting?
what if after waiting so long,
he’s moved on?
If i cross,
will he be there,
just waiting for me to get there?
or will he have left me..?
all alone in my sorrow?
what if i wait,
and he has not?
what if he’s moved on?
and forgotten me?

A poem about the time we may have to wait for someone, like i have to wait to be able to date someone, and its about the worrries, even though they say, "I'll wait for you." what if they dont? its the kind of thing that inspired this poem.
