You Will Never Break Me
Was I too free for you?
Too strong willed...
A wild spirit that you could never tame...
You could never break me
So, you wrapped a collar around my neck
Tied the leash to you
Forced me down on my knees before you
At your feet begging like a slave, a servant, a dog
Your pet, waiting for your every command
Loyal
Obedient to you forever
But I broke free of you
You can't tie me down anymore
No more begging
No more slavery
I am me, myself, and I
My own master, never to serve another
You better stay away
Because if I see you again
I won't be the one who is on my knees begging
