It's Our World
If everyone knew everything, but the knowledge was locked away
Would the world be any better, than the world we know today
We know there are people out there, with nothing to their name
And we sit here, point fingers, try to find someone else to blame
But what if there comes a day, when the tables are turned on us
Would we still be just sitting here, having others worry and fuss
For we pass time like we do pennies, dirty ones lying on the ground
And if we took the time to stop, I wonder what we may have found
The world might be a better place, if people just like you and me
Take a moment to reminisce, on the type of person they want to be
If people put an end to fighting, and the wars were finally won
Maybe there could be peace, when everything was said and done
If only the world were a better place, filled with happiness and pride
Everything could be so much better, if only everyone simply tried
