Make It Stop
Everyday things become worse and worse
Always wearing glasses
To hide the black eyes
Scarfs and turtle necks
To cover the choke marks
Long sleeves and jackets to hide
Hide the marks given
She hides her wrists
Covered in scars - Self inflicted
To rid herself of the pain
She cries herself to sleep... Every night
Fearing another day
Afraid she'll cause him to lose it
That vicious temper
That horrible rage
When will the day be when it's all over?
So the fear will end
And she will no longer shed painful tears
