Heaven
I remember a hospital bed,
with me stuck in it
I remember my family surrounding me,
they were weeping, crying, praying
I remember pain
I wake up to darkness
pitch, black, darkness
I can no longer see
I am blind.......
I see a flame
a man holding a candle
his robes glow in the darkness
The darkness shivers
He teaches me about a place
with endless happiness, endless peace
I learn
I tells me about love and hope
I listen
He holds out his hand, asking
I take his hand
he pulls me through the darkness
and into the light
