feelings
When did my feelings get so deep
Why did they take that big long leap
Going from friend to crush
What a rush
And I don’t think she knows
Lying, listening
To small rustles all around
Waiting to be found
From fairest creatures we desire increase,
That thereby beauty’s rose might never die,
But as the riper should by time decease,
His tender heir might bear his memory:
But thou, contracted to thine own bright eyes,
Feed’st thy light’st flame with self-substanital fuel,
Once more I saw him. In the lofty room,
Where oft with lights and company his tounge
Was trump to honest laughter, sate attired
A something in his likeness. ‘look’ said one,
Unkindly kind, ‘look up, it’s your boy’
