The March of Life
“Forward, march!”
Onward we step,
Together and yet apart,
Never looking back.
Left foot,
Right foot,
Left foot,
Right.
“Company, halt!”
Still,
We stand,
Right foot by left,
Observing the road ahead.
Our path blocked by obstacle—
A grim fate,
We prepare to fight back.
“Present arms!”
Ready to fight,
We load and aim,
Our bayonets pointed sharp,
Staring the enemy down.
BANG!
Once again,
We resume the march of life.

Life is full of obstacles. We get moving through it, only to find it will knock us down. We must get up, fight through what blocks our way, and continue on "marching" through our lives.
