Pictures
Around and around
They flash before my eyes
Like a slide show that only I can see
Everyone calls me crazy
Stupid
Pictures
Of many other choice words
They say I should be surrounded with blank walls
Lifeless
White
Padded walls and floors
No communication with the world around me
Taking electro-therapy
Though I rarely say it
I solemnly agree
For I am covered with marks and scars
From knives and razors they come
While helplessness turns to silent death
Pictures of the many nights alone
Of the nights I could have turned my bedroom into the Nile
The days I could hardly walk from being weak
The blood loss from gashes in my body
Pictures of the words that have been said to me
Of the bullies laughing
Of
Pictures of
White
Beautiful
White walls and floors
And then
Me
In the corner
In a white restraint jacket
Staring
Waiting
But for what
And now I know
For more

I was influenced by a local band I am friends with, The Apology, and their song Evengaline. The specific line only said "Pictures spin around my head..." I was thinking about it and i came up with this poem. Sorry it sucks. :P
