Uncomfort is not a crime,
but annoying nevertheless.
It does not beg for poetic
imagery or songs praising
its sought after beauty.
It is the muddiest shade
of any color. It tries
to keep lovers apart
from one another. It is
evil, it is malignant,
yet it is not a sin,
if it cannot be found
in the dictionary, if it
cannot be blamed upon
a source. It sort of
just accumulates, and
is there, and only
sometimes, it knows
when to leave.
