i lay down i pray i stand by brother
i will be his keeper tell the day i see
this mighty reaper he haunts me

sit on my knees praying as the sky falls
i come to notice my brother has passed he flies away
i finally see the reaper in front of me

he died young God obviously
wanted him earlier i'll make sure i keep going on he would want

i feel the crude world close on me
i just pray i ask him to show me his face he appears
