Tick-tock the clock went
As I sat there waiting for you
There in the dark, under the tent
Hoping to capture the view
But as time crawled around me
I thought I was losing that pow'r
All my dreams of you and me
Faded like the morning star
Then like a meandering river in the desert
Came you, my dark cloud's silver lining
And once again my hopes were raised
With a warm smile on my face
