Angel
Imagine
an angel
So beautiful on the outside
So full of life
On the outside
On the inside she rots in self doubt
and hatred
Her world slowly caving in around her
Crystal tears run down her face
As ruby red flows out of her arm
Her porcelain skin cracked
Her soul shattered
She can no longer live with herself
Yet no one notices the pain in her eyes
No one notices the lines on her skin
No one notices it till it’s too late
Another angel
Has taken on too much weight
And has fallen
From the sky
Falling
Faster
And faster
Looking for the hands
She pushed away
Earlier
But she can no longer find them
So with no one there to catch her
She hits the ground
