Time.
Time passes.
Slowly ticking
Hours passing
Ticking, ticking, Ticking.
The hour hand,
Taking each
Breath
Carefully,
Cautiously as
It rotates around.
Ticking, ticking.
The minute hand
Ticking, ticking,
Ticking, minute
By minute,
Spinning and
Spinning.
Ticking, ticking.
The second
Hand sprinting
Running all
It’s time.
Screaming
For help, time
To stop. For it
Can’t. It
Must keep
Time. Ticking,
Ticking, ticking.
People running
Slowly out of
Time. Dying, killing,
Crying, screaming,
Trying as hard as
They can to
Slow time,
Stop time,
Kill time,
Waste time,
Beat time,
Use time,
Forget time,
Lose time,
TIME!
TIME!
TIME!
No one knows
How to use it.
No one knows
What it’s for.
So they waste it.
Loving,
Hating,
Killing,
Crying,
Talking,
Screaming,
Throwing lives,
Wasting time,
…Wasting time.
Slowly…
Wasting time…
Doing nothing,
Nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
Time, it’s
Ticking.
Ticking.
Ticking.
Until…
Nothing.
Time is gone.
Wasted ‘til it’s
Death. Ticking,
Ticking.
Gone.
