I have a dream
a dream I’ll tell
our future gleams
from the pits of hell

I wrote a speech
about said dream
Our time is ripe
like the ripest peach
no more treading on the beam

They thrived on perfection
to them we were a leech
all because of our complexion
therein lies my speech

We have a noble cause
invested with noble intention
to do away with troubled laws
using divine intervention

With the rising at it’s prime
prying free from the lack of Freedom’s jaws
It is the time
to unveil ourselves from our clouded eyes
made by the heavy gauze
