Mo(u)rning
I am morning.
I am mourning.
Bend my light,
Refract me unto myself.
Feed me rainbows
Of my own light
As I lay still.
I built the darkness
With my own
Bloodied fingers.
I crumble in the wake
Of my own storm.
Stitch my memories
Into a new person
Who lives at night
Beside the moon.
Kiss my goodbye
In raindrops
And gray puddles.
I am morning.
I am mourning.
