Cloudy eyed
unable to stand
with alcohol
you're in nowhere land
You stutter
You stare
You sway back and forth
praying your face doesn't meet with the floor.

You sober yourself
as smoke fills the room
making You happy
you're over the moon
into the kitchen
for something to eat
side tracked only,
by pills, red and pink

you're floating up higher
the pills take effect
the world that surrounds You
a nightmares assent
You run from the clock
and hide from the sink
collapsing, you're nearly asleep

The packet of white
sits in the drawer
You pull it out
along with a card

the dust on the desk
is cut into lines
staring You down
as You inhale your high

on top of the world
You think You can fly
standing in bliss
as the world passes by

come down from that high
fall down so low
depression
sinks in its claws and won't let go
You head to the bathroom
and under the sink
then pull out a razor
thats silver and sleek

You tug up your sleeve
and glide down your wrist
while droplets of red
slide out the slits

the pain
it feels good
it makes you feel live
You're not just a zombie
You hold your own life
controlling your pain
is something You like

You dig the blade deeper
You drain your own life
and after trying for days,

You take your own life.

this is amazing, i love how you made everything rhyme yet it all made perfect sense and didn't seem all squeezed up. perfect.
