You are a needle in the crease of my elbow,
shooting your intense pulse directly into my bloodstream.
Your electrifying touch leaves me feverish and vulnerable,
lying on the cool checkered tile in the motel bathroom,
sweat beading on my forehead,
shivers running down my spine.
And like the possessed desire of a junkie
to have a violent fix coursing through my veins,
I can’t seem to find anyone who gets me as high as you.
