The little girl looked up at her father,

And said "Can you see this flower?"

He said, "Of course, I can",

"No," she repsonded, "Can you really see it?

Can you see the beauty this petal holds,

And the life that it represents?

Because each person you ignore around you,

Is a flower that you see but don't see.

Each God-crafted person upon this Earth,

Needs your help in some way,

And you have to decide if you will see them,

Or instead, turn away.

I know this Daddy because I am small,

And still connected to God.

But one day I will grow and my faith will grow dim,

And you will wonder why no one will see me,

But deep down you know,

It's because you never saw or helped them."

The man looked down at his daughter and smiled,

He took the flower from her hand,

And said, "My dear, I see the flower,

And I'll help it if I can."
