Skeleton
A step towards him
A dark iron fence appears
But she could feel the warmth
In a house
Like any other
Guarded by the warning metal
surrounding
Its pretty façade
There is a past
No one knows
Not even himself
It is more than a secret
A past-
His skeleton
He acts the way
He acts because
Of that house
And that past
Yet she creeps closer
Intrigued and in love
He will break one day
The skeleton will shatter
As it happens
She will pick up
The little pieces
Back together again
They will approach the fence
Pass its menacing sneer
Come up to the door
Hands on the rusty metal
Unlock
And open to find
The skeleton of
His past
