Gift Poem
A GIFT POEM, To Mommy
My Mom goes to work, She
Spends her day slaving away,
Coming home to a messy house,
Messy children, the stress rises,
Let’s go to the carnival,
It’ll be fun, I will make you happy,
We can get a golf cart so our feet don’t hurt,
I’ll get some cotton candy for us,
We can ride rides, play all day
Giving an hour or two of my time,
Just to make you happy,
If you don’t like the carnival, we’ll go to the movies,
We can watch the classic’s you love,
Grab a bite to eat, shop for you,
It’ll be fun, we will have fun,
If you don’t like the carnival or the movies,
We can go to the beach,
We can dig are toes into the cool sand,
Make a sand castle and get sandy,
I’ll make you happy by playing in the cool water,
And if you don’t like the carnival, movies or the beach,
I will clean the house,
Mop everything, rub your feet,
Babysit Ivy and make dinner,
And if none of this makes you happy,
I will give you a hug and a kiss and say goodnight.
