I Kid You Not
  You asked me
  “Do you liiiike him?”
  No.
  Stop.
  Right.
  There.
  Stop for just a second
  And realize how
  Inappropriate
  That question is.
  And how unlikely it is
  That I will answer “yes”
  Considering that I am
  Openly gay.
  Come on.
  Seriously?
  I expected better from you.
  You tell me
  “But I was just kidding…”
  Haha, very funny.
  Do you know how much
  “Just kidding”
  Can hurt when
  So many people ask me
  “Do you liiike him?”
  On a daily basis
  And they’re not kidding?
  They’re serious.
  They’re erasing my sexuality because
  I’m in the minority.
  And they’re not kidding.
  So no,
Don’t joke with me about that.
  Ever.
