I'll keep my head down,
Away from eyes,
Away from sin.
Shoot for the win,
Cut all ties,
Leave this silent town.
Afraid to be noticed by those dark looks,
The ones that pierce,
And the ones that hurt.
Gotta learn to assert,
Become far more fierce,
Make myself new, outside of their books.
