We were all put on this love to care and love about one another; not to hate, belittle and destroy each other.

Living under the weight of life
The paperweight that never goes away
Blunt edges that lacerate into your skin
Your blood
The same as others
Will spill before you
In a crimson drop of drudgery
Oh, no
The cut was not created by my self
But of the others
They sit on top of this paper weight
Leaning back and forth
Infringing on my rights to be a human
Life used to be so simple
So pure
Mine
No weighted pain
No daggers
No harm to come of me
All I wanted was just in reach
Now
I can’t even see what I want
I can’t just change the world my self
This paper weight will not move on its own
Anyone can see that
Anyone who knows the weight
Knows that the feet to chance the narrowed minds of
Our
So called brothers and sisters
It’s sitting on the ledge next to impossibility
Who knows how long it will take for the impossible to
Push
The being off
Wave goodbye to it
Starting a whole new revolution built off of hate
Heinous crimes
Terror
Will plague us all
Leaving scars in the sky to block out
Hope
That one thing
That keeps us all grounded
Hope of a better tomorrow
Hope of a new look
Hope of white fluffy clouds
No rain
No storm
No tears shed
No words said
To belittle us
They laugh
They laugh at our imaginings
Our dreams shattered
Nightmares roam freely on the streets
Dancing on the paperweight
The weight will soon become unbearable
But they know nothing about us
They know not of who we are
They know not of what we are
They know not what we are capable of
They hate
Hatred is only a lack of understanding
You know not
Or you do
Choosing to see your reason to be better
Not of what their intentions were
What good they thought they were creating
That they found it better to proceed with their actions
Then to sit in the lime light
Waiting for someone else to ensue
If we do chose to act upon
Our beliefs
Then the ones whom oppose
Will strike us down
An Exodus
Of mass hysteria
Change is not welcome
As I have said before
Hate is a lack of understanding
We hate change
Not just hate
But loath
To speak of change
We might as well
Write our own obituaries
For someone to compose ours
They will write their own
May not your epitaph say
I gave up
But
I gave it my all
As they inter you six foot
They will remember
That you too were a human
Who wanted change
Change is not good
For we are nothing more than the
A herd of sheepel
We were raised to become
This
This as a population who hate
We pry on one another trying to make our children
Carbon-copies
Of what we were
Saying that we want them to be better than us
Reality check
We want them to become something
Society wants
Another man who steals
But gets away from it
Someone who thinks inside the box
Because knowledge can be used
It can be used against our leaders
To see the piggish ways
They act
"Propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations among minors"
We all know
That this
Is only feeding to those who hate
This is giving them more ammunition
To send
Because if it is not accepted to the young
Then why should it be accepted
Why anything should be respected
If children
Children
Are not allowed to see it
I fail to see how a same-sex relationship is going to
Butcher
The minds of our children
What I do see
Is how the violence is going to turn
Our next generation
In to hating beasts
Who think that the stereotype
Is what every person they see
Will live up to
When mothers pull their children out of school
Because a classmate is gay
I am sorry,
I have not once in my life
Seen anyone suffer the epidemic
Of gay
You know why?
It is not something you choose
It is not something you catch
It is a feeling
It is not a feeling that is wrong
And for the person who is different
They do not hate it
If they are not exposed
To the simple minds of our public
Then they know not of what you think is wrong
But a rare feeling
One that cannot be given to us
No pill
No doctor
No religious figure head
Can give us that simple
But so distant feeling of
Love
Who are we to take away that feeling
Who are we to say that you cannot find it in another person?
Who are we to say what is wrong
What is right
And what is this “norm”
We have come to terms with?
The norm is not a world spread mechanism
One person’s norm is not another’s
It may be close
Never exact
It is sad to think about
How so many try to change
For to this norm because this is how society wants us to be shaped
We are not clay
Yet we act as if.
Some just need more of a beating then others
To be stretched till we break
That’s it though
Once we break
There is no going back
The actions will live on till someone forgets
One day there will be no one to remember
The paperweight may be lighter
Or heavier
It all depends on us
On our actions as a society
As worldly brothers and sisters
To change this world before it is too late
