Predator Becomes Prey
April 2, 2015
the zebra separates from the herd
a lion shadows
the zebra.
the lion runs at
the zebra,
but the zebra senses a presence
the zebra bolts,
frolicking
away.
click… the sound of the safety turns
the lion… close to killing the zebra
bang… a bullet fires
hitting the lion in the lungs
the lion immortalized
into a decoration on the wall
at his prey,
staring into its eyes
sporadically
the predator
becomes
the prey.
