History's Mystery
With history comes mystery, one no one can solve.
Ideas stirred about a bird, how they did evolve.
Life blurred, left unheard, until archeology.
Life transferred, claimed absurd, according to theology.
Not distinct, ideas linked, in one blink, became extinct.
First prehistoric, then meteoric, now supposedly euphoric.
As the earth continues to spin, her antiquity revolves,
with this on going mystery we may never solve.
History repeats, lava running through the streets,
seated in this metropolis, waiting for apocalypse.
