Feeling New
I write as I cry
saying with a joyful sigh
that tonight I might die
I look unto the clouds
with the sun shining through
illuminating my smile
and for a while I hadn’t known
how much the bright light shown
so I could discover the unknown
I lay on my back
thinking of him
and his adorable self
Tonight I will die
but a new me will be born
and I will be reborn
away with the depression and anger
away with my worries and sorrow
away with my fascination of death
I’m a new me tomorrow
Forget the past
and look at my future, with my beautiful husband, Ash
