There's a thing called
Confidence
The one they talk about
In videos
Athlete to athlete
It’s a glorious thing
Worn on kings
Princes
Knights
Hardly on lowly serfs
Yet one thing
I've come to accept is that
I am just that
Lowly-
Close to the ground
So I rise quickly after each and every fall
I am not an athlete,
A king or prince,
Not a knight either.
But hear this voice
I am the confidence
It takes to rise from each and every fall
The confidence
To be little
And to stand tall
