Little Toad
  little toad, little toad –
  where are you?
  you’re croaking
  on your bed of steps;
  singing a lullaby
  to night to lull it to sleep.
  little toad, little toad –
  you must be tired
  from singing so long,
  the world to sleep;
  but you continue on,
  relieving us from stress.
  little toad, little toad –
  your calls can be heard
  from miles and miles away,
  but i hear you
  croaking us a song
  on the steps of my home.
little toad, little toad.

I wrote this on April 25th, 2015, when my brother told me there was a toad on our steps and I started singing this randomly and I thought to myself, "Why not write a poem about it, since I like it?" Haha. This is what I wrote, and I remember, hearing the toads and frogs croaking that night.
