Trapped
The room is damp and dark
The shapes and figures swirl before my eyes
The aged brick and ancient skulls stare at me with their empty eyes
The shadows cast by the candle seem to move as if they had a mind of their own
The deep darkness in the corners seem to be hiding sinister secrets
The light falls on a face in just the right way to make it look cruel and insane
The sound of mortar on brick makes its way through my hazy consciousness
The chains attaching me to the wall make a clinking sound that fills me with dread
I can hear the laughs of all the souls trapped down in this dark place
Will I ever escape this madman?
Will I liv out my last days down here?
As the last brick falls into place, I am filled with a terror so extreme that I let loose a final scream
