My Love is Illegal

My love is illegal.
How could that be?
I am loved, and she is loved, why can you see?
That we aren’t hurting anyone, in fact it’s the opposite.
If our hearts are pure, then why is this a sin so politic?
So raise your hand and vote, whether or not we can fall in love.
Because no matter what, even if push comes to shove.
My love is illegal.
And that is something we need to rise above.
