Softly Spoken
I may be soft spoken
  but I am not broken
  I choose to sit
  and soak up
the things that are being said
  I do have a voice
and it can be quite deceiving
  but believe me
you can't always tell what I am thinking
  shy and quiet at school
  because it’s not cool
  to make a big scene
  that’s not me
  The truth is
My feelings are broadcast where everyone can see
looking into my eyes like a television screen
  and seeing right through me
trying to be the best that I can be
but I doubt people know everything
  about me.

  I am boisterous and poetic
full of life and have a force that is kinetic
  drawing people in
  to what I am saying.
  That is me
not the soft spoken girl everyone seems to see
but a very lively young lady.
now you know the real me .
