Dandelions: Weeds or Wishes?
Star light Star bright first star I see tonight
I believe in wishes.
You can think I am crazy if you want
but sometimes wishing is the only separation from insanity.
I believe in wishes because the difference between the moon and infinity is believing
you can get there.
I believe in wishes
because if we did not have anything
to wish for, we would not have anywhere to go.
I believe in wishes because adults never want to lose their childhood,
and kids just want to grow up.
I believe in wishes because who would give up
the opportunity to fly?
I don’t believe that every wish will come true.
I don’t believe wishing is a magical universal cure.
But every wish I make
gives the universe a thought.
So, if enough people make the same wish enough times
it is bound to come true eventually,
right?
As happy as I am to sit still for eternity
I would rather sit still in faith than complacence.
Wish I may, wish I might,
have this wish I wish tonight.
