A Question

How many more poems of painful catharsis
Will it take me to cure this cancer
Of my cardiac existence?
Does Art have the answer?
Or am I spilling paint to no avail,
Am I scribbling poems just to reveal
The many more metastases
Yet to blossom inside me?
