"And though she be but little, she is fierce."- Shakespeare

I am the girl puking up fire out a bottle of whiskey

I wonder if they hear my pulsing sirens when I scream

I hear deafening silence and also the running presence of him

I see skin laying down on bone to dry for the last time

I want a hand to rip the layer of a girl named Alone

I am Ariya Alone

I pretend the stuffed dogs on my bed are growling

I feel the weight of bricks cracking, breaking

I touch the emptiness of a standing no-one

I worry they don't know

I cry blood of bullets and stabbing knives

I am Ariya Alone

I understand it will always be this lonely road

I say it will remain and quiet

I dream of hands- paint-stained hands clasped together

I try to imagine a better ending than this

I hope emptiness will slowly dissolve

I am Ariya Alone
