"And though she be but little, she is fierce."- Shakespeare

He stuck my pictures that he called beautiful with a butterfly magnet to the refrigerator

And we raced to see who could finish one whole baconator

I was never fat, only BEAUTIFUL

He held my hands and spun me in a circle while we listened to 'Cinderella'

And lifted me up up up so I could touch the ceiling

Or maybe even the clouds, I was that high

He baked french toast with me and let me stir the egg and milk batter

And then we gave my cat, Gingersnap, some so he could grow fatter

We laughed so hard when Ginger got some up his nose

We had a pillow fight and rolled all over the bed so we had to make it up again

And he tickled me so hard I had a giggle fit and fell right off the bed

But don't worry! He caught me

And held me just in case I was hurt and would cry

But I didn't and he still hugged me for some time

He loved me so so much

He held my hand tightly when we crossed the street

And he mussed up my hair after I had made it neat

Pretended I had a quarter in my ear

He pushed me oh so high on the swings and made sure I didn't fall

He had me flying and I never once touched the ground at all

     And I was safe

He kissed my nose and tucked me into bed all warm and snug and cuddly

He told me he loved me, turned out the light, and promised to be there in the morning

And for that one night, for that one dream I was

My daddy's little girl
