my mom keeps chinese wine
in a cupboard, behind the
soy sauce and canola oil
sometimes I dig it out and live again
it feels like reincarnation
my mom says it’s the
strongest wine out there
you could kill a whole
population of head lice with it
I wish I could tell her
it’s not just head lice
