Memories of my Brother VII MAG
You used to scuff stones with the toes
Of your school shoes
When we walked home and
You liked to see how far you could
Kick your stone down
A one-way street
And when they told you to
Stop it you couldn’t understand it as
You were trying to establish
The parabolic projectile of that
Little piece of history
Because you have always been a
Scientist in that the question on your
Lips was always “why”
But, when it came to a hospital waiting room
You
Were the question we all asked
“Why”
