Wings
The wings are sprouting from our backs,
And it's painful, for they must break out
Of the sinew, bones, and tendons we made,
Out of beliefs and notions of who we are,
And we created, hence we must destroy,
To allow ourselves the ability to soar,
Farther, then we ever envisioned before.
