Bullets Through My Heart
Walking down the halls,
I hear a voice.
His voice.
I quickly glance back,
and sure enough,
he’s with her.
I smile quickly,
but then I see him,
holding her hand.
Then I see
him kiss her.
And suddenly,
my heart wrenches,
and my smiles fades.
I hurry to the bathroom,
struggling to hold back tears.
I’m happy for him,
that he’s found somebody he loves,
but seeing his love for her,
and not me,
makes me feel cold,
and empty.
and what hurts the most,
is the fact that
I can’t tell him how much
I still love him.
