his hand is a rock
I can feel his bones digging into my flesh
the hearts around his name scream in agony
tongues crash together like hurricane whiplash
they curl around broken strands of hair
last night I typed out our future
and deleted everything
watching the letters backtrack
I hated how it seemed to never exist
he gets up and takes all the warmth with him.
